The last few weeks!

My child's life so far has been very well documented! We have over 1000 pictures of him already and he's only seven weeks!  Thank goodness for digital photos! I can't even imagine how expensive it would be to print all of these lovely photos out!

For Christmas, my mom got my dad tickets to the NASCAR races in Las Vegas.  He decided to make a boys trip out of it and took Chris, my brother Nick, my soon to be brother, Jared, and my Uncle Joe.  I'm sad I don't have a picture of Jare-bear, but he was definitely there and I'm sure looking just as sexy with his headphones on!

Evicted

Well, the time has come... my little son has officially been evicted from his cradle next to our bed and has been relocated to his big boy crib in his own room.  I was a little nervous the first night with him on his own, but he slept like a champ! He made it from 11:00 pm until 6:15 am and has done great every night since then.  We're still practicing sleeping in the crib during the day, which is a bit of a struggle for the little guy, but in time, I'm sure he'll get the hang of it.  He's just too dang spoiled right now to realize that he needs to sleep on his own during the day, not in someone's arms!

Picasa is pretty sweet!

I know I'm very behind in my computer skills, but I just decided to check our Picasa and love it! Yay for new discoveries!

Our little love

I know I'm completely biased, but I think my little one is pretty precious!  He has changed our lives in more ways than I ever could have imagined, and we are so grateful to have been sent such a sweet little guy.  Right now as I try to type this, he is wearing his cute little NASCAR jammies from his Grammy's house, and is mad as ever because he thinks he's hungry after only an hour and a half since his last snack!  I think we're in the midst of a growth spurt because he is a little chow hound.  Four or five ounces is no problem for little weave!  He has definitely inherited my ability to "put it down" as Chris would say!
