Two months old!!
Things to remember about Drake at two months:
* He is still a wild man! He wiggles around like crazy. The poor little guy always has red eyes because he is constantly punching himself in the face.
* He has gotten used to being naked and doesn't throw as big of a fit when he is changed. Phew!
* He has outgrown all of his newborn clothes and is almost out of his 0-3 things. He is too long! He does have a little belly on him, but it's the length of all his onsies that is the problem.
* He sleeps through the night and has for a good three weeks now! The bedtime routine usually consists of a bath around 10:00, a bottle at 10:30, and bed at 11:00. Most nights he will sleep until 8:00 am and will go back to sleep until 9:30 or so after eating a quick breakfast!
* He has gotten into the habit of not pooping all day and saving it all up for nightly blowouts! We have been experiencing full on blowouts at least once every night for almost a week now.
* He will still not sleep in his crib during the day. It is an absolute battle to get him to sleep in it for ten minutes during the day. The only way he will really take good naps is if he is being held. It's a little frustrating at times!
* He is a chow hound! He has no problem gulping down six ounces if he is allowed to!
* He is super smiley in the mornings after he eats :)
* He loves to sit in his bouncer and kick his legs and throw his arms around.
* He had a wicked case of baby acne but thanks to some awesome advice and a tube of hydrocortizone cream, it is on it's way out!
* He has a little flat spot on the back right side of his head because he totally favors his right side. Ahh! Hopefully it rounds back out!
* He is truly the light of our lives and we are so thankful to have such a sweet little son!

Your pictures are darling Whit! I'm glad he is doing so well!! Leighton would never take naps in her crib at first either. I finally got a little sling to hold her in. She was happy to still be held, and I could be hands free and actually get some things done!
He is so cute.
Jonas totally had a flat spot on his head too! And it wasn't getting any better, but I ordered a "Noggin Nest" (made by Boppy) off of Amazon and it helped a lot! I put it in his car seat, bouncer, and swing (everywhere but his crib) so that when he was just laying there he couldn't favor the one side of his head. You should check it out, cause thankfully it made his head a little better.
And you're lucky he's a good sleeper! It's much easier being a Mom when you can sleep at night.
He really is so dang cute! Nathan took his best naps in his swing! If you don't have a swing, come borrow mine! It's heaven! He seriously would nap much longer in it!
We need to get together soon!
12 pounds holy cow! No wonder I'm always sore after every time I hold him! Love my cute little draker, love you too!
Drake is adorable! I had to check out your blog again after seeing you at the doc. My oldest son favored one side as well and his head was a little deformed for a couple of months but it eventually evened out beautifully. I would hang toys from my sons car seat on the side that he didn't like so it forced him to turn his head. Lucky girl that you have a good sleeper!
