Random Pictures!

These last few weeks haven't been too exciting, but I have a few random pictures that I've taken and thought I'd post.

Melissa, Mom, and Bird... I love these girls!

A few weeks ago, my cousin Tiffany got married and all of us Musso's headed up to the wedding. This little guy is my cousin Lori's baby, Corey. He is such a doll!

My cousin, Chris, his wife Emily, and their three adorable boys were also at the wedding. Mathew, Will, and Joseph are so much fun! Mathew (the oldest) took an immediate liking to my brother Nick! Uncle Nick was the star of the show the entire weekend! In this picture, Mathew was telling Nick all about the Dinosaur Museum that they were going to. He was so intense about it! And yes... for those of you that know my bro and haven't seen him lately, his hair is way longer than mine and his beard is thick as ever! He is definitely going to be one of the favorite uncles!
My little guy will have so much fun playing with all the boys in the family!
At this rate, in a few years, we'll have enough boys to make up our own soccer team!

This picture is from awhile ago, but I couldn't resist posting it. This is Amber's cute Dylan! She is so stinckin' cute and the best baby in the world! She feel asleep like this while Amber and I were in the kitchen throwing dinner together. I can only hope that my little man will be as good of a baby as Dylan!

There will be no lack of testosterone in my house becuase...

Baby {BOY} Weaver will be joining the crew!! It's official! My hunch that this little one would be a boy, was right all along! I knew that Weaver, Reggie and Tobie needed another little guy to play with! We're so excited!! I can't believe I'm going to have a son! I just hope he comes out looking like his handsome daddy and not like me! Red hair and freckles on a little boy could be rough!

I love this picture because it's so obvious that he's a boy!

Most of the pictures were really hard to decipher because his little head was tucked way down low and the placenta was in the way but you can see his hands in this one.

Hooray for baby boys!!

Bird's the Word!

Bird was the one that took my picture for me last night and we just happened to snap this one too. I know I'm probably a bit bias, but I just have to say that I have the most amazing sister in the entire world! She is seriously the best sister one could ever ask for! Growing up, we were probably about as different as two sisters can be. She was the tom-boy athlete and I was the prissy little dancer but over the last few years, we have been able to spend way more time together and are great friends!

Bird (Stacie) has and always will be such an example to me, even being four years younger. She is so motivated and driven to accomplish all of the many things she has set her mind to do. You know you're something special when you decide to major in Math Education at BYU!! I despise Math and can't even imagine learning how to solve some of those daunting equations by hand without the ol' TI-89!! She is a math rockstar!

Not only is she motivated and amazing at math, she is truly one of the most loyal friends I have ever met. Not only to me, but to all of those people that are lucky enough to call her a friend. She is kind, compassionate, and loves to help people. All such wonderful qualities that I need to work on!

So... all in all, my cute little Bird's the Word is one of my angels! I love her more than she'll ever know and am so grateful to have been sent to the same family as her. Just the other night, she called me to tell me that she has decided to for sure serve a mission. The debate has been on for a few months now, but I think this time it's official. She'll most likely leave in January and will just miss meeting our little one, which makes me really sad, but above all, I am so proud of her. Making that decision with everything else that is going on in our lives right now would be super difficult and I know that she has decided to do what Heavenly Father would want her to.

I love you Bird and am so blessed to have you as my sister and friend!!

The beginning of the belly!

It's official! Baby Weaver is now too big to stay completely hidden! I know it's still not much, but the belly is definitely there! Some days, more than others, depending on the crap that I ate the night before, but I can definitely not suck it all in any longer! I know it's probably kind of silly to wish that I were completely showing, but I do! I can't wait for a legitimate pregnant belly! And... the best part about it is... my cute babe thinks that pregnant women are so cute! He loves little bellies! I have the most amazing man!!

13 Weeks ( I look really funky in this picture, but I had just gotten home from sitting outside in the 108 degree weather with my man and was definitely looking a little haggard!)
5 Weeks... a few days after I found out!

There's still a baby!

I know I'm a freak for fretting about my little bun in the oven, but for some reason, I get really anxious when it's time to head to the doctor. I went for my second appointment today and was a little nervous that they wouldn't be able to find the heart beat! Like I said, I know I'm paranoid because I saw the heart beating away last month on the ultrasound, I just can't help it. There just seems to be so many things that can go wrong. All is well though, the heart beat was easy as can be to find and was awesome to hear. Even my super mellow hubby was excited! Hooray for baby Weaver's little heart beat!!!

Weekend Re-Cap

This past weekend, Chris and I were lucky enough to be able to spend some quality time with my family and some great friends in Salt Lake. As I mentioned in my last post, our weekend began with a trip to the Poison concert. Having never been to a concert before, I really had no idea what to expect, other than the obvious wanna-be 80's rockers, like my love! The wanna-be's definitely did not disappoint but I was shocked to see how many conservative looking moms were in attendance! The crowd was very entertaining! The concert itself was really good... super loud, but good! I was amazed at how loud it was in there. The few times that I left the arena during the show were a little awkward because I couldn't hear a thing! It was the strangest feeling! I think my next concert trip will include ear plugs! All in all though, it was a blast. Chris loved it and I was definitely entertained by the people and Brett Michaels' horrible dancing on stage! Long live 80's butt rock!!

The next few days of our trip were spent with my family and our wonderful buddies, Nater and Linley. Nate and Linley were so nice to let us stay with them. We love them and have so much fun reminiscing about the good ol' days and talking about all the many ways that the boys are going to make us all millionaires!

The original purpose for our weekend get-a-way was to visit with my aunt, uncle and cousin that flew to town from Ohio for a Volleyball Tournament. I haven't seen them in a few years and had such a blast running around Salt Lake and Park City with them. We tried to hit the major sites around the area and ended the trip with a fabulous dinner all together at the Rodizio Grill. It was so fun! I truly am so blessed to have such an amazing family!

The trip was great but now it's back to work and reality! Baby Weaver (aka Cletus the Fetus) is still just incubating away. I've been so blessed and have made it to this point with only minimal signs of morning sickness! I hope I don't jinx myself, but so far, pregnancy really has been a piece of cake. Just for saying that, I'm probably in for the worst baby ever!! Oh well... either way, it's worth it!

Weaver loves 80's Butt Rock!

Photobucket

I'm not exactly sure when my husband's love for the 80's "hair metal, butt rock," began, but for as long as I can remember, my man has been in love! He is absolutely positive that had he been born five or ten years earlier, he would definitely have been one of the 80's great rockers and over the last few years has somehow managed to convert me as well. I can't say that I'm quite as devoted as my man, but I'm willing to play along, which is why my very first concert attendance will be tonight at the Energy Solutions Arena for the Poison conert!
Brett Michaels... here we come!!
